"Democratic Candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris Puts Pressure on Rival Donald Trump in U.S. Presidential Race by Releasing Medical Report, Says BBC"

Kamla VS Trum

Democratic candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris has put pressure on her rival Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential race by releasing her medical report, according to the BBC.

The report states that in the heat of the election battle, both Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris are trying to outmaneuver each other. Kamala Harris has published her health report, which indicates that she is in "excellent" physical condition and fit to carry out the responsibilities of the presidency.

In contrast, Trump has not disclosed any health-related information, which Kamala has used as leverage, accusing him of lacking transparency regarding his health. Kamala made a statement on this issue, which raised questions about Trump's standing among the public. She said, "My Republican rival does not want the American people to know whether he is fit or capable of being president."

Trump's campaign responded with a statement, claiming that he is in "perfect and excellent physical condition" without releasing any medical reports. They also mentioned that Trump is conducting a "very busy and active campaign schedule." Additionally, they argued that Kamala Harris does not possess the stamina that Trump has.

Following such remarks, the White House stated that Vice President Harris is "physically and mentally capable" of serving as president.

Colonel Dr. Joshua Simmons, who has been Kamala Harris's physician for the past three years, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that as of last April, her health was outstanding and that she leads a healthy and active lifestyle.

In her health disclosures, Harris mentioned a family history of colon cancer and allergies and indicated that she regularly undergoes preventive screenings, such as colonoscopy and annual mammograms, as recommended by her doctor.

After this issue surfaced, Kamala's camp gained momentum, with a spokesperson posting on social media, "Your turn, Donald Trump."

Amidst all this, Kamala did not hold back from criticizing Trump. Before a campaign event in North Carolina, she questioned the Republican leader's mental state, suggesting that he often loses his train of thought while speaking.

While Democrats continue to claim that Trump has not disclosed his health information, Trump's campaign communications director, Steven Cheung, countered by saying that after an attempted assassination incident in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump voluntarily released information from his personal physician and other medical sources. Cheung argued that all of this demonstrates Trump's suitability for the role of Commander-in-Chief.

The U.S. election is in November, and national polls show Kamala Harris narrowly leading Trump. However, a tight race is anticipated in the battleground states.

In July, Joe Biden stepped down from the presidential race and nominated Kamala Harris as his successor, reshaping the landscape of the U.S. presidential election.

Earlier, in June, Biden faced pressure to withdraw from the Democratic nomination following a "disappointing performance" during a debate with Republican candidate Donald Trump. In August, Kamala Harris officially accepted the party's nomination at the Democratic convention.
